Dev Blogs are one of the best ways to reach the vast majority of the Dust community at once. They have had big announcements like new weapons, changes to suits, skills, etc. I feel that this form of communication has not been utilized enough and this a plea to get more Dev Blogs!
What's going on?
First things first, let's have a weekly Dev Blog release (or some sort of consistent release).
CCP help us out! No one likes to be left in the dark, let us know what your currently working on! What bug fixes are going out next week? Are you still looking at changes to hardeners and railguns? Is the Gal Scout OP? Talk about something your working on for dust! Vague Dev responses on the forums can be disheartening and makes people troll and QQ more.
Lead the Discussion
Dev Blogs would help set the topic for the week which allows the forum users to focus on a specific issue rather than spam the board with "QQ, Nerf This!, CCP Stinks, Get Gud Scrub, Everything is OP"
Dev Blogs would also be a great way to solicit bug help. Many times I've seen devs request game footage when people post about bugs they see in the game. This is an opportunity to get the community to actively help CCP find and fix bugs faster!
The Point
The best bulk information outlet to the Dust community isn't being utilized enough to maximize its potential. Good Dev Blogs will cut down on Forum QQ and increase focused discussions and increase the quality of feedback.
What would YOU like to see in a Dev Blog?

I want Development Blogs to be about development
CCP needs to lead the development discussion for Amarrian vehicles, SMGs, and the rest of the Development in dust. Then we won't have things like surprise hardener nerfs.

Everyone wants PVE, player market, racial vehicles and they want it now.
Since this is obviously not feasible CCP should lead the discussions to focus on one thing first rather than the entirety of the Dust community speculating on 40 different things at once.
There are some great threads that I've seen on here! CCP then acknowledges them, "We're looking into it", and then they are never heard from again. Ultimately the Feedback is heard, but no one knows whether it was helpful or not until it's already implemented.

Adding weapons, vehicles, player market would all be nice but it won't get new players to stay which at least PVE could do or at least extending the academy until a player gets to say 10mil skill points but with our SUPER small player base will probably just kill the game more.
I absolutely agree with new player retention, but CCP is at a point in this game where they must Retain and Expand. They must enhance the new player experience while also making the game attractive for people with 30mil+ SP to keep playing. PVE would be a great way to accomplish both of those goals.
I feel that the bottom line is still the same though, prioritizing the fixes to the game and communicating that to the community.
